Job Description
Position Summary:
The medical assistant supports physicians and clinical staff by providing high-quality patient care and ensuring efficient daily clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on medical experience who thrives in a fast-paced specialty practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Assisting physicians during patient visits and procedures
- Providing direct patient care
- Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
- Performing and assisting with X-rays
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
- Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms
- Completing daily clinical orders and documentation
- Maintaining an organized and efficient back-office environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the medical field required
- Back office clinical experience strongly preferred
- CMA certification not required
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask in a busy specialty office
Schedule:
- Part-time position
