Job Description

ExecuSource has partnered with a nationally recognized Orthopedic Sports Medicine group and we are assisting them on a search for a Medical Assistant for their office in Memphis, TN. This is a leadership role and the hiring manager is actively setting up interviews!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms. Record patients medical history, vitals, or information such as test results in medical records. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians instructions to patients. Inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Perform administrative/clerical work May operate x-ray or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testing Cleans and sterilize medical equipment Prepare all pre-screening for procedures and surgical consults Operate as
Lead Medical Assistant Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant strongly preferred 5+ years of back office experience preferred Leadership/Managerial experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic medical record systems Knowledge of diagnostic testing equipment and sterilization equipment Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
Pay:
$24-$26/hr
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p #HC123
