Job Description

Urology Associates, P.C. has an immediate opening for a Clinical Assistant to join their Franklin, TN Care Team! The Clinical Assistant (a non-exempt position) is responsible for the clinical functions of the Care Team, working in conjunction with the Provider and the Care Coordinator to provide an efficient and high quality care experience for the patient.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Input New patient information and update Existing patient information as patients arrive. Perform blood draws and give injections. Maintain clinic flow. Room patients, take patient vital signs, and update EHR. Assist Provider with procedures and pelvic exams. Insert/remove catheters. Maintain Log Books (for In Office Pathology, Labs, Stents, etc). Call in medication refills (some are able to be done without provider - per protocol). Maintain refill faxes. Answer and return patient phone calls (Triage, Post OP, general questions) Count and Log in-office medications. Clean/Autoclave equipment, Cystoscopes, Rooms and Work Spaces. Order and unpack supplies for clinical needs. Set-up clinic space for use. Stock patient rooms and restrooms with needed supplies.
Education:
A certificate or license as CNA, CMA, RMA, or LPN is a requirement for this position
High School Diploma Experience/Skills:
Basic Computer Skills needed, including Outlook and Chrome 1-2 years or more of medical assistant experience is preferred (but not required) Urology experience is preferred (but not required) Phlebotomy Skills preferred Experience with EHR systems preferred UA also offers a fantastic
