POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as physician's clerical and clinical support to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

Essential Functions Statement(s)Assists physician in clinic with patient care Answers and responds appropriately to caller's needs to include calling in prescriptions as directed by the physician Manages all physician's written and electronic materials and maintains patient charts Manages physician calendar Performs other related duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED):

RequiredExperience:

2 years of experience in a healthcare environment required. Must be able to sit for and pass A-BROE certification. 1 year of clerical experience required

Computer Skills:

Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills are required.
