Trinity Heart and Vascular Group, PLLC, led by Dr. Dan O'Roark, is an independent sub-specialty medical practice seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant/Receptionist to aid in patient care and general office operations at our Greeneville, TN offices. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a medical practice, possess strong communication and typing skills, and have experience with electronic medical records. Venipuncture and Phlebotomy would be a plus but not required. Cross training to assist in reception/front desk duties is an important job function. Hourly wage will be competitive and based on experience and skill set. The practice does not require vaccinations for initial or ongoing employment. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Arrange for laboratory services Assist during medical examinations as needed File, produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant is a plus Knowledge of medical office EHR systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills
