Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care . This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare providers, supporting clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your dedication will directly impact patient experiences, fostering a welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct patient intake and rooming, including recording medical histories, current medications, and presenting symptoms to facilitate effective diagnosis and care. Perform clinical tasks such as spirometry, allergy testing, medication and allergy shot administration. Complete return calls, escribing and coordination of labs and/or diagnostic testing to PSC sites or hospitals Ordering supplies, documenting temperature logs and other duties s assigned Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories, treatment notes, and billing information. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Qualifications High school Diploma or GED; CMA, RMA, CCMA,NCMA or equivalent certification preferred Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence; Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments; ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
