Job Description
Job Description Opening for an experienced Medical Assistant in a busy, multi-provider pediatric practice. Job Responsibilities Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after patient exams Obtain vitals and interview patients/care givers to obtain medical history, pertinent information Record information in the electronic health record Perform blood draws and collect specimens for labs Enter information and send out lab specimens appropriately Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment Properly dispose of contaminated supplies Administer vaccines and other injections Assist physicians with exams Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Medical Assistant Minimum 1 year experience Up to date CPR certification Skills Basic computer skills Knowledge of EMR, experience with Office Practicum is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with other staff and work as a team Attention to detail Punctuality is a must
