In this contractual , shift-based role, you provide vital support by covering all TX clinics as needed. You stand at the heart of daily clinic operations, ensuring patients feel safe, heard, and well-cared for from the moment they arrive. Your expertise directly shapes a smooth, efficient, and welcoming healing environment for our communities across Texas. Job Duties and Responsibilities Performs accurate Patient Triage to assess patient needs, document medical histories, and prioritize care effectively. Gathers precise Vital Signs to give physicians a clear picture of patient health status during visits. Executes Phlebotomy procedures safely to collect blood samples for diagnostic testing. Administers Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) tests to support cardiac evaluations and timely physician diagnoses. Delivers safe Injection Administration based on provider orders and clinical guidelines. Maintains patient records accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to protect privacy and ensure care continuity. Applies thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate clearly with clinical teams and interpret provider instructions. Required Qualifications Education Graduates from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Experience Brings proven clinical experience working in an outpatient, clinic, or fast-paced healthcare setting. Demonstrates adaptability to thrive in shift-based and contractual assignments across multiple locations. Knowledge/Skills Holds an active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential. Possesses a valid CPR/BLS Certification to handle emergency response situations. Applies strong working knowledge of Medical Terminology , Patient Triage , and Vital Signs measurement. Executes technical skills including Phlebotomy , Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) , and Injection Administration with high accuracy. Navigates Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software efficiently to document patient care. Preferred Qualifications Travels easily and shows readiness for covering all TX clinics on short notice. Communicates effectively in bilingual settings to support diverse patient populations. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Stands , walks, and moves continuously during shifts to support patient flow. Lifts and carries medical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds safely. Wears required personal protective equipment and follows strict infection control standards. Travels regularly between different clinic sites across Texas as scheduling demands. Role Overview This is a contractual, travel-heavy Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) position responsible for covering multiple healthcare clinics across Texas. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a core member of daily operations, ensuring patients receive compassionate and efficient care from arrival through triage.
