Medical Assistant:

Responsibilities The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provide s superior patient care and perform s both clinical and administrative tasks that support patient s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and /or advanced practice provider . Qualifications Job Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program. Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) . Basic Electronic Medical Record ( EMR ) and Microsoft Office knowledge . BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements Associate's degree . Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
