CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
•CARDIOLOGY We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology team. This role involves providing essential support to healthcare professionals and ensuring high-quality patient care in our fast paced clinics. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing clinical tasks, assisting with patient intake, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake procedures, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Ensure compliance with medical terminology and coding standards (ICD coding) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient service and care quality Uphold knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and geriatrics to provide comprehensive patient support
Skills:
Proficient in EHR systems for effective documentation and patient management Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to various specialties, including internal medicine and medical-surgical care Experience in clinic settings Keen attention to detail Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques and emergency response protocols Ability to perform intake assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent patient service skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
