Overview We are seeking a positive, adaptable Medical Assistant II to join our fast-paced vaccination and clinic environment. The ideal candidate will provide professional, compassionate customer service while supporting patients, families, visitors, providers, and clinic staff. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors in a professional and culturally sensitive manner. Respond to questions regarding appointments, wait times, and clinic processes. Communicate patient arrivals, delays, and concerns with staff and providers. Assist with customer service recovery and address patient concerns promptly. Monitor prolonged wait times and notify the clinic manager. Arrange translation services when needed. Participate in clinic meetings, staff meetings, and required training. Support efficient patient flow during daily clinic operations and vaccination events. Notify licensed staff or supervisors when assistance is needed or assigned duties cannot be completed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2 years of related experience required Must possess one of the following certifications/registrations: CCMA

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CMA
• Certified Medical Assistant EMT, EMT-A, EMT-B, EMT-I, or EMT-P Licensed Paramedic NCMA
• National Certified Medical Assistant NRCMA
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant RMA
• Registered Medical Assistant Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, appointment scheduling, and customer service.

Proficiency with computers and basic clinic/office equipment. Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to make quick decisions and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Must be flexible to support flu vaccination events, including occasional 5:30 AM start times.
