Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Full-Time (Not Summer only/Seasonal) dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The candidate will support clinical and administrative functions. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Starting pay $16+/hr, Pay based off of experience.
Responsibilities:
Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff Communicate with insurance companies for authorizations on medications Give immunizations/shots, perform EKGs, diagnostic testing Perform patient intake procedures including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms Measure and record vital signs accurately Assist with patient examinations and procedures under physician supervision Operate EHR systems for documentation of patient information and clinical notes Support patient service activities including appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with safety standardsQualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology Familiarity with EHR systems Ability to perform vital signs measurement, intake procedures, and basic patient care confidently Excellent patient service skillsPay:
