Job Description

MAs will assist special needs adults with daily activities as well as administering medication, the core functions on the job include: Be a fast learner, be positive. Take vital signs Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctors and report back to families. Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc. Answer calls within the shift Examine patients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds Clean and sanitize patient areas Help bathe individuals Keep MARS updated Keep all medical documentation/notes updated. Administer medication to individuals. Transfer patients to and from doctor appointments. Communicate back to relatives.
