Russo Care is a Texas HHSC-certified provider serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through group homes and day programming. Our office is the hub that keeps care coordinated, and we're looking for an organized, warm professional to anchor it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Greet visitors, answer and route calls, and manage the office inbox and fax Schedule and track medical, dental, therapy, and specialist appointments for individuals served Request, file, and follow up on medical records, physician orders, and visit summaries Coordinate with group home staff, nurses, guardians, and providers so appointments and follow-ups don't slip Assist with medication records, pharmacy communication, and refill tracking Maintain client charts and office files in line with HIPAA and HHSC requirements Support general office operations: supplies, mail, data entry, and admin projects
WHAT YOU BRING
High school diploma or GED 1+ year of front desk, medical office, or medical assistant experience Strong organization and follow-through; you close loops without being reminded Comfort with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and learning new systems Professional, patient communication with families, providers, and staff Valid Texas driver's license; ability to pass background check, drug screen, and registry checks
