Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and practice operations. This role involves medical assisting duties, managing electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), and supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred, along with prior experience in cardiology. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in a fast-paced cardiology setting. Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs, medical histories, and recording relevant information accurately. Manage electronic medical records using eCW EMR system to document patient encounters, test results, and treatment plans efficiently. Provide patient education and instructions as directed by physicians or clinical staff. Ensure clinical areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient correspondence. Communicate effectively with patients in both Spanish and English to facilitate understanding and comfort. Adhere to all safety protocols, privacy regulations, and practice policies to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably within a cardiology practice. Proficiency in medical assisting procedures and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, specifically eCW. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Knowledge of safety standards, privacy laws (such as HIPAA), and clinical best practices related to cardiology care. Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
