Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in Cypress, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant with strong clinical and administrative skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced Neurology practice and providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Room patients and prepare them for provider visits and examinations.

Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.

Manage provider inboxes and voicemails, ensuring messages are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.

Assist with prior authorizations and related documentation.

Scan, organize, and maintain medical records and documentation, including materials related to EMGs.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Assist providers and clinical staff with daily patient care and office workflow.

Support coordination of patient care and follow-up as directed by providers.

Maintain organized examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available.

Provide professional and compassionate service to patients throughout their visit.

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and members of the healthcare team.

Follow facility policies, procedures, patient safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

Previous experience in Neurology preferred.

Experience with EMGs or related neurology procedures preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.

American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Neurology environment.

Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.

Must successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening.
