Required skills:
Well trained medical assistant. -minimum 1 year experience Excellent verbal communication skills including pleasant bedside manner, customer focus & professionalism Comfortable with EMR technology. EClinicalWorks is a plus! Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records Extremely organized and detailed oriented Knowledge of infection control procedures, creating a safe and effective environment Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and strict adherence to confidentiality Ability to effectively work as a team X-Ray and/or Casting Experience is a plus! Willing to be crossed trained. Bilingual/Spanish is
PREFERRED.
Beneficial (but not required) skills NCT certified Surgery scheduling Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Welcome patients and visitors Rooming patients Prepare and clean treatment rooms Prep exam tray for proper procedures Assist the physicians during treatment and exams Sterilizing instruments Order and maintain supplies and equipment Taking patients history and documenting in the EMR Documenting/charting -High Volume! Performing X-rays Handle patient referrals Draw injections Casting Administering DME and office products Organize and schedule appointments Update and maintain multiple treatment logs Prior authorizations Office hours: Mon -
Thur:
8:30 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
Fri:
8:30 am-3:00 pm Previous medical experiences is preferred. Two references as well as employment history should be included when replying to this ad.
