Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our providers in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medications and documentation, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.

Duties:

• Assist provider with patient exams, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
• Perform routine administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care.
• Assist with minor procedures, including EKGs, and provide basic life support if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
• Knowledge of medicine and outpatient care is a plus.
• Familiarity with coding and billing procedures is a significant asset.

Skills:

• Basic life support certification.
• Ability to accurately take vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with clinic operations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
