Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our providers in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medications and documentation, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.Duties:
- Assist provider with patient exams, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care.
- Assist with minor procedures, including EKGs, and provide basic life support if needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medicine and outpatient care is a plus.
- Familiarity with coding and billing procedures is a significant asset.
Skills:
- Basic life support certification.
- Ability to accurately take vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with clinic operations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that all patient care is delivered with the highest level of quality and safety.
