Responsibilities E-Clinical Works Experience Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, wound dressing, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary. Support physicians with medical documentation, ICD coding, and maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Conduct routine assessments including vital signs measurement, physiology evaluations, and basic anatomy checks to aid in diagnosis. Manage medical office operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and supporting medical administrative functions. Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently while assisting in inpatient settings or Level I/II trauma centers with hospital medicine or emergency procedures. Requirements E-Clinical Works Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong background in medical office management and patient service delivery. Knowledge of dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care procedures, and geriatrics is highly desirable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or pharmacology are a plus. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR/EHR management, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient assessments. Previous hospital experience or inpatient experience at trauma centers enhances your ability to thrive in high-pressure environments such as Level I/II trauma centers or OR settings. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse patient populations. Pay:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
