We are a busy, fast-paced pediatric clinic looking for a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We take pride in providing exceptional care to our patients while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment for our staff. If you enjoy working with children, thrive in a team setting, and have a strong work ethic, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs. Document patient history accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits. Administer vaccines and medications as directed. Perform CLIA-waived testing and collect specimens. Provide patient and parent education. Maintain clean and organized exam rooms. Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical documentation as needed. Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required. Pediatric experience is a plus. Experience using an EMR system preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Pay:
$9.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
