Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking for a dedicated bilingual Spanish/English speaking and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Administer basic life support as needed and assist with emergency situations.
  • Perform routine tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, and preparing medications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Support inpatient care by assisting with daily activities and monitoring patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with medical staff in various specialties including geriatrics, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and medical-surgical care. Experience
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role.
  • Familiarity with patient service protocols and best practices in a clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of vital signs measurement techniques and basic life support certification is required.
  • Experience working in an inpatient setting or with diverse patient populations is a plus.
