We are a well-established plastic surgery practice with a growing medical spa offering a range of aesthetic treatments and services. We are seeking an experienced, professional, and personable Medical Assistant to support our medical spa providers and help deliver an excellent patient experience. Previous medical spa or aesthetic medicine experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in aesthetics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their experience with our practice. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for consultations and treatments Assist medical spa providers with injectable treatments and other aesthetic procedures Prepare treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient care Assist providers during patient consultations and treatments Take and maintain standardized before-and-after photographs Review treatment plans with patients and answer questions within the scope of the role Educate patients on recommended aesthetic treatments, skincare, and post-treatment care Discuss medical spa membership programs with patients and explain available benefits and options Help patients coordinate recommended treatments, follow-up visits, and future appointments Provide attentive, professional service throughout the patient's visit Assist the front desk with patient checkout and scheduling as needed Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment rooms Ensure supplies and equipment are prepared and readily available for providers Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold HIPAA and privacy standards Follow all applicable infection-control, safety, and clinical protocols Communicate effectively with providers and front-office staff to ensure a smooth patient experience Qualifications Minimum of 2 years Medical Assistant experience required Medical spa, aesthetics, plastic surgery, or dermatology experience strongly preferred Experience assisting with injectable treatments is preferred Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and skincare is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional and polished demeanor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations and membership programs with patients Ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong team-oriented approach and willingness to assist wherever needed Commitment to providing a high level of patient care and service

Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.5 per week
