Medical Assistant (2791) FWH - Granbury - Granbury, TX 76048 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage Up to 10% Category Other Positions Apply Description US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Granbury TX.
Responsibilities:
Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform venipuncture and other laboratory tests as required, while adhering to safety protocols. Manage electronic health records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information. Perform basic cardiology-related procedures, such as EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and stress tests, under supervision or as directed by physicians Handle multi-line phone systems and communicate effectively with patients, scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries. Occasional travel to different clinic locations as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Bilingual skills in English and another language.
