You will be supporting providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. There are many opportunities for growth. We are a multispecialty practice of Psychiatry, Sleep Medicine, and Endocrinology. Responsibilities Gather patient details, vitals, and Hx Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Arrange hospital admissions, laboratory services, and other ancillary orders Welfare checks and patient triage Assist during medical examinations Give medication injections / patient education Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Execute medication prior-authorizations Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Respond to patient communications Skills Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems, EMR's, and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task / prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office Able to contribute to a positive work environment
