Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Preferred (not required) 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology/Mohs surgery EMR experience High school diploma or equivalent required •

Past Employment Demonstrating:

excellent interpersonal skills effective communication skills (written and oral) well organized ability to manage multiple tasks self-starter and motivated Knowledgeable in OSHA and HIPAA compliance Computer proficiency Patient charting (i.e., scribing patient history, doctor's diagnosis description and treatment plans, including prescriptions and patient instructions into patient chart, in detail) Knowledge of medical terminology/abbreviations, including dermatology Assisting physician with surgical procedures

Job Duties:

• Electronic patient charting Returning patient calls Checking patients in and out when needed Logging and maintenance of labs/path and patient call backs Entering patient demographics into practice management system Manage patient charts in regards to prescriptions, biopsy reports, lab reports, medical records, and patient correspondence Assist physician with surgical procedures Other duties as required
