Part-time / Full Time Premier Pain Centers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team. As a key part of our pain management practice, you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients, collect and document vital signs, medical history, and medications Assist providers with procedures and in-office treatments Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and supply inventory Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system Coordinate referrals, imaging, prescriptions, and follow-up appointments Educate patients about their treatment plans and post-procedure care Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Provide support with prior authorizations, insurance verifications, and other front/back office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification or relevant clinical experience required Previous experience in a pain management, orthopedic, neurology, or similar clinical setting is preferred Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
Schedule & Availability:
