Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly in cardiology, and possess comprehensive knowledge of physiology. This role involves providing medical administrative support, assisting with medication administration, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a clinical environment. The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service to our patients. Will be traveling from Huntsville to Conroe on a daily bases. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform vital sign checks and document patient history accurately. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coding for insurance purposes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Support patients through education on treatment plans and follow-up care. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in cardiology preferred yet not required. Must have two years experience working as a Medical Assistant. Knowledge of physiology, medical coding systems, and medication administration protocols is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
