Our team focuses on delivering personalized patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. Overview We are seeking a motivated and bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant Front Desk to join our team. This vital role combines administrative support with patient interaction, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, medical office experience, and a passion for delivering quality healthcare support. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes in both English and Spanish. Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up communications efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Assist with patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and preparing necessary documentation. Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, handling medical documentation, and managing medical records accurately. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while adhering to confidentiality standards for medical records. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless flow of patient information and support administrative tasks such as ICD coding and medical documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or as a medical assistant within healthcare settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, or urgent care. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems), medical terminology, and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with medical assisting procedures including vital signs collection, phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ICD coding, anatomy knowledge, physiology fundamentals, and inpatient or trauma center experience is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills focused on patient care, service excellence, and team collaboration. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
