Job Overview Medical Assistant Float - Cross-Trained Support Role Be Well Primary Care Be Well Primary Care is looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly adaptable Medical Assistant Float to join our growing team. This is not a traditional float position. While occasional travel to another Be Well Primary Care location may be needed, the primary purpose of this role is to float between different responsibilities and areas of the practice based on where support is needed most. This individual will be cross-trained in multiple clinical and operational functions and will serve as a flexible resource for the team. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, can switch gears easily, and doesn't need to do the exact same thing every day. Primary Responsibilities Scheduling & Ancillary Utilization Ensure ELITE folders are complete and all required documentation is completed and filed. Help ensure ELITE visits are consistently scheduled. Once ELITE scheduling is complete, assist with adding appropriate ad hoc visits to the ancillary schedule. Help ensure NeuroScan services are being scheduled as needed. Identify and follow up on scheduling or documentation gaps. Medicare Program Support - RPM/CCM Assist the Medicare Coordinator with identifying eligible RPM/CCM patients who may have been missed. Serve as an additional set of eyes to support established Medicare program processes. Help ensure eligible patients and opportunities do not fall through the cracks. Cross-Trained Role Coverage Cross-train in multiple clinical and operational roles throughout the practice. Step into different responsibilities based on daily operational needs. Provide coverage when another team member is absent or additional support is needed. Maintain proficiency in the different functions for which you have been trained. Be willing and able to shift priorities as needs change throughout the day. Occasionally provide support at another Be Well Primary Care location when needed. Medical Assistant Support & Training Provide Medical Assistant coverage when needed. Assist with training new Medical Assistants. Help support MAs who may need additional training or assistance with workflows and processes. Spot-check MA documentation for completeness and accuracy. Help reinforce Be Well Primary Care processes and expectations. Additional Support Assist with inventory counts and organization. Support peptide handling and tracking. Assist with patient intake and other clinical responsibilities when needed. Identify workflow or documentation gaps and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member or leadership. What We're Looking For Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred/required as applicable. Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting. Primary care experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation. Willingness and ability to learn and perform multiple roles. Someone who is comfortable changing responsibilities based on what the practice needs that day. Quick learner who can retain new processes and work independently. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Comfortable helping train and support other team members. Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented. Reliable transportation for occasional travel to another Be Well Primary Care location when needed. The Right Person for This Role We aren't looking for someone who wants to stay in one lane. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, wants to learn different areas of the practice, and is comfortable being cross-trained so they can step in where they're needed. One day your focus may be ELITE scheduling and ancillary services. Another day you may be assisting with RPM/CCM, training an MA, providing clinical coverage, helping with inventory, or stepping into another responsibility you've been trained to perform. The goal of this position is to have a well-rounded, cross-trained team member who can help keep things moving when and where support is needed.
