Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to perform various clinical and administrative tasks. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining the efficiency of the medical office. Responsibilities Perform vital sign assessments and document patient information accurately. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Assist in emergency medicine procedures as needed. Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures in the operating room (OR). Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and examination rooms. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient service. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Proven ability to provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is preferred.
