Medical Assistant

Come work with the BEST of Denton County!! Experience is a must, at least 1 year of PRIMARY CARE or equivalent clinic setting. This position will be working with our physician in the office who is very busy but fun to work with. Medical Assistant certification would be nice but not required. If the experience is there, certification can be overlooked. Will consider CNA or EMT with experience. M-Th 8-5, Friday 8-3. "Small office" that is very fast paced and very busy. Multitasking and communication skills are a must. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Experience with EMR. Experience with computers and basic programs (Microsoft). Phone etiquette. Able to give various types of Injections and vaccines to patients of all ages. Able to perform EKG and spirometry testing would be beneficial but can be taught to the right candidate. Room patients, obtain HPI, and vitals on every patient.

In- office testing includes:

COVID, flu, strep, RSV, urinalysis, drug screens, etc. Prior Authorizations, insurance referrals, and patient call backs: medical knowledge is an absolute must. We do not discriminate against vaccination status. Must pass background check and on-site drug screen. 12-week probationary period. Health insurance, PTO, sick and holiday pay offered after 12 weeks. We are a busy office that works hard but plays even harder. We are the type of group that can hustle all day long but then laugh it all off at the end of the day. Very laid-back group who are easy to work with & looking for the perfect team member to make us complete again.
