The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist with medical procedures, and support the clinical operations of our practice. This role involves medical assisting duties, managing electronic health records, and ensuring smooth patient service experiences. Additionally, the candidate will receive training to become a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technician and collaborate with insurance companies to obtain approvals for TMS treatments. Duties Perform medical assisting tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during procedures. Manage Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and up-to-date. Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient questions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Record and maintain medical records with attention to detail and confidentiality standards. Support basic life support procedures when necessary, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in coordinating TMS treatments by working with insurance companies to secure approvals for therapy sessions. Participate in training programs to become a certified TMS technician, supporting the administration of TMS therapy as needed. Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential for managing electronic health records effectively. Experience in medical assisting roles that involve patient interaction, vital signs measurement, and basic clinical procedures is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical documentation standards and medical records management is advantageous. Certification as a Medical Assistant is required; additional BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred or will be provided upon hire.
