Job:

Part Time Medical Assistant

•McKinney and DFW surrounding area.

Job Details:

Welcomes patients by greeting them in person. Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room. Helping them to position themselves for the examination and/or treatment. Arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment. Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history. Taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment. Performs basic vitals and height weight. Ensures appropriate and accurate documentation in the patient medical record. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Excellent time management skills necessary. Great communication skills helpful. Keeps patient care information confidential. Performs patient exams for multiple testing including: Spirometry (PFT) (training provided). Fundus photos (training provided). ANS/Sudo testing (equipment driven, training provided). Neural testing (training provided).

Salary:

$19.00

•$22.00 per hour.

Schedule:
Day Shift:

Monday

•Friday

•Occasional Saturday.

Hours:

As early as 7:30am to as late as 5:00pm.

Experience:

Healthcare worker (in some capacity): 1 year (Required).

Medical Assistant:

6 months (Preferred).

In-Person
