The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset above all. The Host/Host will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and supporting smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table turnover Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the restaurant Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs and seating arrangements Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and overall guest relations to ensure satisfaction Support team members during busy periods by helping with guest services as needed Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and service quality at all times Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality is preferred Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in guest services, serving, or hotel operations is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and friendly demeanor Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued, and every team member contributes to creating a welcoming experience for our guests.
