Reporting to the office manager or healthcare provider, your role will involve managing patient intake, verifying insurance, and utilizing our EHR system. Your core skills in medical terminology, vital signs, and customer service will be complemented by your bilingual expertise in English and Spanish, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Additionally, your knowledge in a family practice setting will be valuable in supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality care and ensuring patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide medical administrative support, including insurance verification, patient intake and checkout processes. Schedule appointments for patients using the EHR System Assist in patient care by measuring vital signs and documenting information in EHR systems. Manage incoming and outgoing faxes Deliver exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast paced family practice setting. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety and health protocols. Multitask and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new knowledge
Required Experience:
1-2 yrs of experience in a family practice setting and reception/front office skills.
Preferred Experience:
1yr with eClinical Works
EMR, 1-2
yrs
Insurance Verification Experience Required Education/Credentials:
