Job Description

Established dermatology office looking for an honest, hardworking, team player, friendly and reliable member to join our team. Our office specializes in skin cancer surgery (Mohs) so compassion and detail is a requirement for our patients.
  • This is a part time Medical Assistant position. (M-W) Hours to be discussed, but would not exceed 27-30 hours per week. Job duties include but not limited to:
  • Assisting physician with all surgeries and consults
  • Biopsies, wound care and suture removal
  • Sterilization of instruments (daily)
  • Cleaning, stocking and maintaining equipment and room stock
  • Prior-authorization
  • Daily confirmation of surgeries and follow up of patient care
  • Set up for procedures and educates patient with pre and post care
  • Scheduling of surgeries
  • Pharmacy refills
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. May be required to perform the duties of other employees in their absence.
  • Other duties as required

Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 27.0 - 30.0 per week
