In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist medical providers, and operate radiology equipment to support accurate diagnostics. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinical operations and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients efficiently, ensuring accurate collection of demographic and insurance information in both English and Spanish. Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and enthusiasm. Operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately, following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly in both languages, ensuring comfort and understanding. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including patient records, imaging reports, and procedural notes within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Monitor vital signs, perform basic phlebotomy (blood draws), and assist with specimen collection as needed. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with proficiency in X-ray imaging within a clinical setting. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and EMR/EHR systems. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required to ensure patient safety during procedures. Hands-on experience in outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, or hospital environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical assisting duties such as taking vital signs, medication administration support, and medical documentation. Ability to operate radiology equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
