In person About the Position Premier Psychiatry is seeking a dependable Certified Medical Assistant to support our psychiatrist and clinical team. We are looking for someone compassionate, organized, comfortable using technology, and committed to helping patients feel welcome and supported. This position requires travel between Waxahachie, Ennis, Corsicana, Hillsboro, Cleburne, Kaufman, and Gun Barrel City as needed, according to the clinic schedule. What We're Looking For

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant education program.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification.
  • At least two years of recent clinical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned locations.
  • Psychiatry or behavioral health experience preferred. Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, assist with check-in and check-out, and collect payments.
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history, current medications, and patient concerns.
  • Assist the psychiatrist with documentation, orders, referrals, and follow-up coordination.
  • Answer calls, respond to voicemails and messages, and schedule appointments.
  • Coordinate in-person and telepsychiatry appointments.
  • Route medication refill requests to the provider and assist with prior authorizations.
  • Obtain relevant medical records and prepare charts before appointments.
  • Assist patients with intake forms and provider-directed screening questionnaires.
  • Support TMS and Spravato treatment workflows as assigned, following training, clinic protocols, and provider supervision.
  • Communicate provider instructions and promptly report patient concerns to the clinical team.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Keep exam rooms and shared workspaces clean and organized.
  • Assist with correspondence, faxes, forms, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Cross-train in office duties and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
