Job Description
Sterling Personnel Inc. is seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain/update vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed by the provider Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (eClinical, Phreesia) Handle patient phone calls, messages, referrals, and prescription refill requests Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and cleanliness standards Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines Provide excellent customer service to patients and families #BBN Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required High school diploma or equivalent required Previous clinical experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures Experience with EMR systems preferred (eClinical, Phreesia) Basic Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes Strong organizational and multitasking skills Professional communication and positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a busy medical environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Health benefits Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environmet
