  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing and coding for insurance purposes.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by collecting medical history and relevant information.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Conduct basic in-house laboratory tests and blood draw for send-out blood tests
  • Provide patient education on medication instructions, diet, exercise, and general wellness. ```Qualifications```
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information.
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks, including appointment scheduling and insurance billing.
  • Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10-CM and CPT.
  • Ability to perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, phlebotomy, and conducting laboratory tests.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and care.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assist healthcare providers during examinations.
