Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, while demonstrating a strong commitment to medical administrative support and teamwork. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with medical procedures and patient care.
  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Provide patient education and support on medical procedures and treatments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Assist with patient transportation and coordination of medical services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Perform basic life support and other emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Provide patient service and support to ensure a positive patient experience.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and internal medicine practices.
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support, including medical records and scheduling.
  • Ability to administer medications and injections in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Basic life support certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical systems.
  • Excellent patient service and communication skills.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
