Rise Men's Health is a growing men's testosterone replacement and hormone optimization clinic providing both in-office and telemedicine care . We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. Full-time Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Support Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant clinical information. Assist providers with patient assessments and in-office procedures. Administer injections in accordance with provider orders, clinic protocols, and applicable regulations. Perform venipuncture and blood draws and ensure proper specimen handling and labeling. Prepare patients for laboratory testing and follow up on required lab work. Educate patients on routine clinical instructions and reinforce provider recommendations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment. Follow all applicable infection-control, HIPAA, and patient-safety standards. Front Office & Telemedicine Support Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions, scheduling, and general clinic information. Communicate with patients professionally by phone and through electronic communication. Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, laboratory testing, and other patient needs. Assist with telemedicine visits and ensure patients are prepared for their virtual appointments. Help facilitate communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and laboratories as appropriate. Review and maintain patient information and documentation for accuracy. Provide an exceptional patient experience from initial contact through ongoing care. Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred. Previous medical assistant experience required; experience in a busy outpatient clinic strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience performing venipuncture/blood draws and injections . Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional, personable, and comfortable discussing sensitive healthcare topics with male patients. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records. Comfortable using electronic medical records and common computer applications. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and highly organized. BLS/CPR certification preferred. Because our patients receive ongoing hormone optimization care, building trust and maintaining strong patient relationships are especially important. Experience in men's health, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), hormone optimization, urology, endocrinology, primary care, or another outpatient specialty is a plus, but we are also interested in experienced Medical Assistants who are eager to learn our specific model of care. You should be comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with front-office duties and supporting a high level of service to patients both in person and through telemedicine . Why Join Us?
