Overview An Ophthalmology practice is looking for Full Time Medical Assistant / Ophthalmic Assistant, who is energetic and devoted to work in a medical clinic setting. The position is located in Sherman, TX. This position includes duties such as: Checking vision Entering patients' history and complaints in the EMR Perform diagnostic testing and setup laser/procedures Assist doctor as needed This position is a full time and requires to work 4 days a week. Position involves travel to satellite office on 2-3 days of the week in the company car along with other staff. These days are longer days from 7 AM to 7 PM days. If you have some personal obligations which require you not to be available, this job may not be a good fit for you. We will train suitable candidates who show commitment to learning about ophthalmology. We require Previous Medical office experience Ability to speak clearly and understandably. Ability to accurately record information. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Excellent work ethic
