• Position Overview:

• As a Full-Time Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring that our patients have positive experiences at our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our medical practice.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Handle billing and insurance processes, including verifying insurance coverage.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
