Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Desk/Medical Assistant, where you'll be the welcoming face and efficient organizer of our medical practice. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional care delivery. You'll handle patient check-ins, manage appointment scheduling, and assist with clinical tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the medical team with essential administrative and clinical duties. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and manage waitlists to optimize clinic flow. Collect patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature accurately recording all data in the EHR. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes and updating medical records efficiently within EMR/EHR systems. Support patient intake by reviewing medical histories, updating medication lists, and ensuring all necessary forms are completed prior to examinations. Manage administrative tasks like answering phones, handling correspondence, and coordinating referrals or follow-up appointments. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting with a strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for electronic health records management Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations including geriatrics or trauma center patients. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
