Medical Assistant - Outpatient (Full-Time, Pain Medicine)

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, No weekends

Pain Medicine We are a dedicated outpatient pain management practice seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our care team. In this full-time role, you will support one physician and one nurse practitioner, working alongside their clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care. Surgery scheduling experience is strongly preferred as you will play a key role in coordinating procedures and maintaining continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

Record vital signs and patient information accurately Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and medical equipment Monitor medical inventory and order supplies as needed Communicate with patients in person and by phone regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-ups Prepare and submit orders for surgical procedures and other diagnostic or therapeutic services Support providers with EMR documentation and care coordination

Requirements:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) Minimum of 1 year experience in an outpatient clinical setting Experience with surgery scheduling required or strongly preferred Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Experience in pain medicine preferred but not required
