Job Description
We are seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our team who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality and efficient care. Duties:
Patient vitals, medical history, documentation of current and discontinued medications. Assist providers in procedures and surgeries. Provide patients with education on medical conditions, treatment, and preventive care. Process orders for diagnostic imaging, VNG, sleep studies, labs, etc. Diagnostic imaging, prescription, and surgery authorizations. Keep inventory of all medical supplies, medical instruments, and order supplies. Stock and prep exam, procedure and surgical rooms with necessary supplies, instruments and equipment for patient exam, procedure, or surgery, including sterilization. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, surgery room, instruments and equipment. Schedule appointments, referrals, medical record request, insurance verification, patient and answer incoming calls.Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience working in a medical office clinical setting preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to multitask and prioritize task in a fast -paced environment. Strong attention to detail with accuracy in documentation. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.Job Type:
