Role:
Clear Lake Specialties is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Assistant for a solo Family Physician practice. This role focuses primarily on back office patient care with occasional front office duties. The ideal candidate is proficient with EMR systems, typing, and clinical tasks, with at least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
What You'll Do:
Provide back office patient care. Perform front office duties as needed. Collect and enter patient information on EMR. Administer immunizations and injections. Assist the physician with minor procedures. Perform EKGs, spirometry, and in-office testing. Call patients with test results and other follow-up communication. Maintain accurate and organized patient records. The company is
Looking For:
High school diploma. 12 months of medical assisting experience. Medical Assistant Certification (required). Proficient typing skills. Experience collecting and entering information on EMR. Experience with immunizations and injections. EMR computer experience (preferred).
Background Requirements:
Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check. (Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.)
