Job Summary:
The Cache County School District is seeking a dedicated Health Aide Specialist to join our school health team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time role supports student health and wellness during school hours. The Health Aide Specialist provides first aid, manages medications, and assists with chronic health conditions under the supervision of the District Nursing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care to students who are ill or injured during the school day Administer medications in accordance with district and state protocols Assist with management of student health plans (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures, allergies) Maintain accurate health documentation. Occasionally provide backup support to front office or lunch staff, if time allows
Qualifications:
Medical training required (EMT or Medical Assistant) Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting required High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and follow protocols
Note:
This position has a set daily schedule during the school lunch hour. Applicants must be available Monday through Friday for the 4-hour shift.
