We are looking for a medical assistant who loves people and has a positive attitude. The position is for 2 days a week Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday Responsibilities Taking patients back to the room. Taking and entering vital signs into the computer. Helping fit patients will boots, braces, orthotics, compression socks etc. Taking patient x-rays. Answering the phone as a back up to the front desk. Scheduling surgeries and obtaining pre-authorizations. Ordering supplies and cleaning the office on Thursday's when we are not seeing patients. Basic computer skills are a must. Qualifications Medical experience is preferred but we are also willing to train someone who is motivated and willing to learn. Must be able to take initiative and be able to work independently.
